How To Install
There are three methods to install DriveReply to your Android platform mobile phone:
METHOD 1:
1) If you are not getting the mobile website when you browse thru your phones browser, then simply visit www.drivereply.mobi in the browser on your phone and press download. You will be prompted for payment and the app will be downloaded and installed on most phones, or it may prompt you to press install on older phones.
METHOD 2:
2) Select the Market icon on the main screen. Press the magnifying glass indicating Search, input: DriveReply and click on the version you would like to download. The phone will do the rest.
METHOD 3:
3) Download the app to your PC/MAC,
- Connect your phone to its USB data cable that also serves as a charger for your phone
- Fill out the form on our download section on main page
- Download the file to your computer to a location that you can easily find it
- Once your phone is plugged into your computer, drag the white bard down from the top to open recent activity and press the USB connected field under ongoing. It will pop-up asking if you want to mount the phone and computer. Select mount.
- In your computer, your phone should show up now as a removable drive.
- Drag the file from where you downloaded it to into this new drive, if you open that drive you will see the contents of your phone.
- Now, using an app installer tool, we have used, appInstaller (downloaded/installed for free from Android Market on phone).
- After the file has been transferred to your phone, (you can see it in the directory if you have it open)
- Unhook the USB cable now from your phone, wait about 10 seconds for the phone to register that it is no longer connected to the computer
- Find the icon for app installer and press it, you will see DriveReply listed there.
- Press DriveReply here and go thru the prompts, the app will install.

Windows Mobile/Windows Phone Desktop Installation
NOTE: At the time of install, you must have cell connection and 3G connection(or Broadband #777 for Windows 6.0) to install this app.
The desktop installer (located in the InstallerDesktop folder) will allow users to run an installer from their Windows desktop. This installation process works as follows:
- 1. Connect your Windows Mobile device via ActiveSync to your desktop using USB or Bluetooth. For more information on connecting your device via ActiveSync, visit http://search.microsoft.com/Topicspage.aspx?mkt=en-US&q=activesync.
- 2. Once connected, download and run the DriveReply.exe application.
- 3. Click Next to continue.
- 4. Click the Deploy button to install the DriveReply application onto the device. At this point, the installer will be copied to the connected device and will run on that device.
- 5. After the installation begins on the device, you may be prompted that “The program is from an unknown publisher.” and you will be asked whether you would like to continue. Be sure to click “Yes” to continue.
- 6. Once complete with the installation, the device will restart.
The first time you run the application, you will be asked to register your device. Once you have completed the registration process, you can begin using DriveReply!
Device Installation
The device installer (located in the InstallerPocketPC folder) will allow users to run an installer directly on their device. This installation process works as follows.
- 1. Transfer the DriveReply.exe application to the device directory of your choosing (i.e. Temp). This transfer can be accomplished by either downloading the executable from a web site or from the Microsoft Windows Mobile Market.
- 2. Run the executable on the device by clicking the file name in the File Explorer application.
- 3. After the installation begins on the device, you may be prompted that “The program is from an unknown publisher.” and you will be asked whether you would like to continue. Be sure to click “Yes” to continue.
- 4. Once complete with the installation, the device will restart.
The first time you run the application, you will be asked to register your device. Once you have completed the registration process, you can begin using DriveReply!
Tested Successfully on:
HTC Imagio, HTC Omnia, LG CT-810
The best way to install DriveReply is to install it directly from BlackBerry Appworld from your phone. BlackBerry does a great job encapsulating the software and notifying you of updates or upgrades your phone must have to install.
If that is not an option, you can install it here using a micro-usb data cable, but you will need to upgrade your blackberry desktop manager to latest version 5.0 and update the OS on your BlackBerry device to 5.0 or newer.
Currently, BlackBerry only runs on devices running version 5.0 with GPS activated on them. Some early 5.0 OS Verizon devices have GPS locked up and only available to run Verizon Navigator.
We do not support the Mac version of the BlackBerry desktop. Please use your BlackBerry AppWorld from your phone directly if you use Mac as your desktop.
